What you'll do for CNIB Deafblind Community Services
Covering a broad range of duties, the Booking Coordinator:
· Schedules and coordinates Intervenor Services for Deafblind Individuals.
· Collaborates with the scheduling team and DBCS Managers, to allocate resources.
· Performs administrative duties including, but not limited to service tracking, benchmarking, report writing, note-taking, etc.
· Performs administrative duties as required
· Prepares correspondence, mailings and filing duties.
· Assists to prepare and participate in community and in-house presentations as required
· Attends internal and external meetings.
· Other duties as required.
Requirements
· Proficient user of Microsoft Office and experience working in a database environment
· Proficient user of Microsoft Outlook , and Videoconferencing.
· A strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, good decision-making and judgement.
· Able to work under pressure with strict deadlines.
· Mature with a professional attitude, and a solid team player.
· Self-directed, organized, and attentive to detail.
· Conversational Knowledge of ASL (American Sign Language) , is an asset
We want to hear from you if you have
· In-depth knowledge of implications faced by people who are Deafblind, knowledge of deaf culture.
· Post Secondary Education or equivalent job-related experience.
· Minimum 3 years of related experience.
· Ability to work flexible hours and open to travel-- occasional travel may be required.
