WHO WE ARE:
The Department of Post-Secondary Education, Training and Labour is seeking an individual to join the Finance and Operations Branch as an Administrative Assistant working in Fredericton.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Processing invoices for payment for the Branch, and processing paperwork for chargebacks on services provided by the Branch.
- Providing logistical and administrative support for meetings and events and accurately maintaining the department's inventory of furniture/equipment and other assets
- Providing primary back up for the department's main reception.
- Formatting correspondence.
- Assisting with daily mail and courier shipments when needed.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS: A high school diploma supplemented by completion of a one (1) year related post-secondary program and a minimum of three (3) years experience in an administrative environment which includes customer service, cash handling and data entry OR a high school diploma supplemented by completion of at least a two (2) years related post-secondary program and a minimum of two (2) years experience in an administrative environment which includes customer service, cash handling and data entry. An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.
Written and spoken competence in English and French is required. Please state your language capability.

SALARY: $1,872 - $2,218 bi-weekly
