Purpose of position

The AI Solutions Architect designs, governs, develops and delivers enterprise AI solutions aligned with Jazz architecture, security, compliance, data governance requirements and ensures deployed AI solutions remain secure, reliable, compliant, supportable, and effective throughout their operational lifecycle. The role actively builds critical solution components in conjunction with the Software Development team and AI Analysts, translating business needs into secure, supportable and measurable production capabilities.


Key responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end solution architecture for AI initiatives from discovery through production.
  • Define integration patterns, security requirements, data flows, deployment models and operational support requirements.
  • Establish reusable architecture patterns, implementation standards and technical roadmaps.
  • Lead technical design reviews and coordinate delivery across business, data, software development and infrastructure stakeholders.
  • Design, build, test and deploy AI-enabled applications, services and integrations.
  • Develop proofs of concept, prototypes, accelerators, reference implementations and critical production components.
  • Build solution components in conjunction with the Software Development team and AI Analysts.
  • Develop integrations using Copilot Studio, Power Platform, APIs and enterprise systems.
  • Troubleshoot, optimize, document and transition AI solutions into sustainable operational support.
  • Facilitate discovery with business units and translate requirements into practical solution designs.
  • Collaborate with AI Analysts to identify, assess, prioritize and refine AI use cases.
  • Assess feasibility, risk, data readiness, expected value and implementation effort.
  • Define success measures and partner with business owners, AI Analysts and adoption leads to support readiness, adoption, value tracking and post-implementation optimization.
  • Ensure solutions remain effective, secure, compliant, and cost-efficient throughout their lifecycle.
  • Apply Responsible AI, privacy, cybersecurity, records management and data governance requirements.
  • Establish AI engineering controls, development practices and lifecycle documentation.
  • Evaluate emerging AI technologies and recommend appropriate enterprise adoption.
  • Support AI governance, architecture review and risk-management activities.
  • Support AI cost-governance practices, including forecasting, consumption monitoring, budget alerts, Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), Return on Investment (ROI), and value-realization reporting.
  • Perform duties in accordance with established policies and procedures while giving primary consideration to personal safety, and the safety of co-workers and customers.
  • Perform other related duties, as assigned.


Required qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related discipline; equivalent education and experience may be considered.
  • 5+ years working in IT, designing and developing enterprise solutions.
  • Experience with Generative AI, Machine Learning or Advanced Analytics.
  • Knowledge of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), AI Agents, Prompt Engineering or Responsible AI principles.
  • Experience in API design, Enterprise Integration.
  • Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, testing and monitoring practices.
  • Knowledge of secure development, privacy and data governance practices.
  • Strong business analysis, facilitation, technical writing, stakeholder communication skills, strategic relationship-building and change leadership skills.
  • Advanced experience in Enterprise Solution Architecture, Software Development, Data Architecture or Cloud Architecture.
  • Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary development and business teams and moving solutions from concept to production.
  • Strategic and systems thinking skills.
  • Ability to present technical concepts and recommendations to business and technology leaders.
  • Risk-based decision-making and product/value orientation.
  • English language fluency, both written and verbal (Must be able to communicate with English internal and external customers across the country.)


Preferred qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with Azure AI Foundry, Copilot Studio and Power Platform.
  • Experience assessing solution costs, benefits and value realization.
  • French language proficiency.
