Reporting to the Chief Information Officer, the Director, Business Solutions serves as the strategic link between NB Power's business units and the Digital Technology and Cyber Security teams. This leadership role partners closely with executives across the organization to align business priorities with technology capabilities, drive digital transformation, and maximize the value of technology investments.

As a trusted advisor to senior leaders, you will help shape business demand, identify opportunities for innovation and improvement, and ensure technology initiatives support organizational objectives, manage risk, and deliver measurable business outcomes.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide strategic leadership for NB Power's Business Relationship Management function, serving as the primary advisor and connector between business leaders and the Digital Technology and Cyber Security teams to ensure technology investments advance enterprise priorities and deliver measurable business value.
• Partner with executive leaders to shape the organization's digital future, translating business strategies, opportunities, and challenges into transformational roadmaps, investment strategies, and technology-enabled solutions.
• Champion enterprise transformation and innovation, identifying opportunities to enhance business performance through digital technologies, automation, analytics, artificial intelligence, and emerging capabilities that strengthen organizational effectiveness and long-term success.
• Lead strategic portfolio and investment alignment, ensuring business demand, investment priorities, and technology initiatives are governed and prioritized in alignment with enterprise strategy, architecture, cybersecurity, regulatory requirements, and value realization objectives.
• Build organizational capability and influence enterprise-wide collaboration by fostering strong stakeholder partnerships, establishing effective governance and performance measures, and leading a high-performing team dedicated to customer focus, accountability, continuous improvement, and business outcomes.

Our ideal teammate will have:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• Eight years of progressive experience in business relationship management, business solutions, enterprise transformation, strategic planning, consulting, or technology.
• Five years of demonstrated leadership experience
• Demonstrated success leading enterprise-wide transformation and change management initiatives
• Demonstrated experience managing portfolios, strategic investments, and governance processes
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proven ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with diverse teams and all levels within an organization
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
• Experience within a regulated industry or utility environment would be considered an asset

An equivalent combination of training and experience may be considered. Subject to competition response, the minimum qualifications may be modified.
