JOB TYPE: Permanent full-time

SCHEDULE: Day, 8 and 12-hour shifts. Work schedule may be changed to meet operational needs.

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS: French essential and spoken English

JOB SUMMARY:

Reporting directly to the Integrated Services Network Manager, the incumbent performs duties that may include providing management support, approving payroll and employee requests, and coordinating and managing equipment and access requests. The incumbent provides support for performance evaluations, attendance management, the performance management process, and quality and safety improvement by developing policies and procedures and participating in accreditation exercises. The incumbent also works in very close collaboration with the Integrated Services Network Manager for Community Health and Services. Ensures optimal operations by supporting the management of referral center facilities in the communities of the Acadian Peninsula and local family health teams. The incumbent may be assigned additional responsibilities based on operational needs.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in a field related to administration, health care, or another related field;
  • At least three (3) years of experience in the health care field;
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered;
  • Knowledge of and experience in primary health care is a plus;
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft 365 suite and other software used within the Network;
  • Experience in implementing and evaluating policies, programs, or initiatives is a plus;
  • Experience in managing human and financial resources is a plus;
  • Ability to establish internal and external partnerships;Interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Leadership, problem-solving, and planning skills;
  • Ability to implement change management strategies;
  • Willingness to travel within the zone's territory;
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member;
  • Physical ability to perform assigned duties;
  • Good previous work history (performance and attendance);
  • Adherence to professional ethics principles, to the Network management philosophy and organizational values;
  • Compliance with the rules of confidentiality established by the Vitalité Health Network.
