Job Title: Machine Operator

Shift Times: Days (7am-3pm), Afternoons (3pm-11pm) or Nights (11pm-7am)

Pay Rate: $19.40/hour + applicable shift premiums

Location: Burlington, Ontario - North Service Rd and Walkers Line

We are hiring Machine Operators for our client's automotive manufacturing facility in Burlington. Associates will be feeding, loading, or completing inspections on parts. Operating cutting, press, or bottling machinery (training is provided). Candidates must be comfortable lifting up to 50lbs and be available to start working immediately.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operating machines
• Repetitively feeding parts into hopper
• Repetitively bending and lifting up to 50lbs
• Performing quality checks on materials and machined parts
• Placing parts in anodizing tank and racking parts
• Accurately read blueprints or instructions to complete customer orders
• Follow Health and Safety guidelines at all times
• Other general labour tasks as assigned

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience in similar industrial role required (machine operating, general labour, etc.)
• Must be comfortable lifting 50lbs repetitively
• Strong attention to detail required
• Comfortable working in a warm environment
• Ability to communicate and take direction well from others
• Willing to provide Criminal Record Check
