Job Title: Production Machine Operator - Aluminum Finishing

Location: Burlington, ON

Pay Rate: $23-$25/hr

Shift: Monday-Friday | Straight Days (7:00 AM-3:30 PM) or Straight Afternoons (3:00 PM-11:00 PM)

Job Summary

The Production Machine Operator - Aluminum Finishing is responsible for the efficient, safe and productive operation of the Anodizing Line and associated equipment.

Pay Rate: $23-$25/hr

Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate overhead hoists to move aluminum racks through the finishing process.
• Follow work orders and process parameters to achieve the required finish.
• Monitor tank solution levels, temperatures, cathodes, and rinse tanks.
• Verify work orders and parts are correctly identified before processing.
• Maintain clean, safe work areas and promptly address water spills.
• Troubleshoot equipment and quality issues and assist with preventive maintenance.
• Record process parameters accurately and report work order discrepancies.
• Organize production to maximize efficiency and output.
• Identify and recommend process, quality, and safety improvements.
• Follow company quality standards and all applicable Ontario health and safety regulations.
• Participate in team projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

• Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent

• Safe Operator Hoist Training

Experience and Skills

• 2~3 years previous experience in a manufacturing environment

• Good communication skills

• Organization skills

• Highly motivated individual with a positive attitude and flexible approach to work
