SCHEDULE: Day, 8 and 12-hour shifts. Work schedule may be changed to meet operational needs.

JOB SUMMARY:

The incumbent works collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, adhering to professional standards, to provide patient care. This clinical work encompasses assessment, detection, interpretation, education, and rehabilitation. They are responsible for patient mobilization, developing and implementing exercise programs, and maintaining or improving patients' functional independence. The work also includes participation in the planning and implementation of department or program activities, and may involve quality improvement initiatives, clinical supervision, performance management and statistical analysis, orientation of trainees and staff, research, workload management, and care coordination.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Member in good standing of the New Brunswick Kinesiology Association;
  • Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, and the various systems of the human body;
  • Proven communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize;
  • Sound clinical judgment and decision-making skills;
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team;
  • Physical ability to perform the assigned duties;
  • Good prior work record (performance and attendance);
  • Adherence to the principles of professional ethics, the Network's management philosophy, and organizational values;
  • Respect for the confidentiality rules of the Vitalité Health Network.
