SCHEDULE: Day, 8 and 12-hour shifts. Work schedule may be changed to meet operational needs.

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS: French essential and spoken English

JOB SUMMARY :

To view the content, please go to the French pageReporting to the Director of Patient Flow at CHUGLD, the incumbent will contribute to the success of the department primarily in the following capacities: a) coordinator for the improvement of operational and administrative processes related to patient flow, and b) leader and champion in the search for innovative solutions and alternatives, as well as in change management within the Emergency Department and throughout the hospital.

REQUIREMENTS :

  • Bachelor's degree in health sciences and/or applied sciences;
  • Master's degree in a related field is a plus;
  • PMI certification is a plus;
  • Lean or Lean Six Sigma certification, or the ability to obtain it by the specified deadline;
  • Experience in the healthcare field;
  • Excellent proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project) and Visio software;
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and coaching skills;
  • Sound judgment, supported by strong listening, analytical, and synthesis skills, as well as strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities;
  • Transformational leadership;
  • Ability to mobilize, engage, and act as an agent of change;
  • Dynamism and creative thinking in the performance of duties;
  • Ability to travel both within the Vitalité Health Network's territory and throughout the province;
  • Fluency in spoken and written English and French is required;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Physical ability to perform the assigned work;
  • Good work history (performance and attendance);
  • Adherence to professional ethical principles, the Network's management philosophy, and organizational values;
  • Compliance with the rules of confidentiality set by Vitalité Health Network.
