Jump Recruitment, on behalf of our client, CSN Baker's Autobody. is currently seeking an Apprentice Autobody Technician to join their team.

Working alongside experienced technicians, you will gain hands-on experience restoring vehicles to pre-accident condition while learning industry best practices, safety standards, and repair techniques.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

As an Apprentice Autobody Technician, you will work under the guidance of experienced technicians to develop your skills in collision and autobody repair:

• Assist with repairing and replacing damaged vehicle panels, frames, and structural components using hand and power tools.
• Support dent removal, sanding, painting preparation, masking, refinishing, and vehicle restoration processes.
• Learn how to assess vehicle damage and understand repair procedures and manufacturer standards.
• Assist with vehicle preparation, disassembly, and reassembly as required.
• Safely operate shop equipment and follow proper lifting and material handling procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Work collaboratively with team members to complete repairs efficiently and on schedule.
• Follow all workplace safety procedures, quality standards, and shop protocols.
• Participate in ongoing training and skill development opportunities to grow within the trade.

WHAT YOU BRING:

• Registered as an Autobody Apprentice or a strong interest in pursuing a career in autobody/collision repair.
• Previous experience in an automotive, mechanical, labour, or shop environment is considered an asset.
• Mechanical aptitude and a strong interest in learning vehicle repair techniques.
• Willingness to learn dent removal, sanding, refinishing, painting preparation, and structural repair processes.
• Ability to use or willingness to learn hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment safely.
• Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn from experienced technicians.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality workmanship.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Commitment to workplace safety and professionalism.
