What you will do:

Reporting to the Director of Éducation inclusive au primaire for Services éducatifs francophones, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following tasks:

Implementing the training strategy for educational assistants by working with districts and schools. Collaborating with various partners in connection with the role of educational assistants to establish and offer professional development, provide training, and develop any other resources required for training.

The key responsibilities of the position are:

Working towards implementing a plan for the initial training and professional development of educational assistants.

Planning, developing, and implementing a program with various professional development modules for educational assistants.

Collaborating with CCNB and other key players in the education system to update training programs for educational assistants.

Helping find solutions to provide the best possible service to students.

Contributing and collaborating by bringing your expertise to certain priority projects of the Secteur des services éducatifs francophones team, school districts and schools.

Your attitude, skills and interests are just as important as your area of study. We are looking for diverse backgrounds that bring a combination of the following:

Need to have:

  • Master's degree in education and a minimum of six (6) years' teaching experience in an inclusive K-12 public education system.
  • An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in a field such as adult education/coaching may be considered. An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in a field such as adult education/coaching may be considered.

Written and spoken competence in French is required and written and spoken competence in English is necessary. Please state your language capability.

Wage:

Pay Band 7: $94,146 - $113,906 annually.

Work environment:

  • Office location: 250 King Street, Fredericton.
  • A remote work agreement may be considered.
  • Standard hours of work: Monday - Friday, 8:15-4:30.
  • Some travel throughout the province will be required.
