Definition of work:
The position provides general x-ray and laboratory services to Fogo Island Health Centre. The successful candidate must be flexible in willingness to work varying shift and call schedules. Requirements for standby/callback are required. The successful candidate will be committed to safety and will partner with all team members to improve worker and patient safety by integrating safety into work practices, identifying risks, and implementing improvements.

Required qualifications:
 Completion of a 3-year Laboratory Technology program and a supplemental X-Ray Skills for Laboratory Technologists program approved by Central Health.
 Current and continued licensure with the Newfoundland and Labrador Council of Health Professionals (NLCHP).
 Demonstrated ability to work with a high degree of independence.
 Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team, while providing client centered care.
 Consistent demonstration of NLHS values, Innovation, Compassion, Accountability, Respect and Excellence (I CARE)Â
 A satisfactory record of work performance and attendance is required for this position.
 A satisfactory certificate of conduct from the RCMP or local police authority.
