Lounsbury Company has an opening for a temporary Human Resources Generalist position.
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented HR Generalist for a 12-month contract to support our Human Resources team. This role will focus primarily on full-cycle recruitment and onboarding, with additional responsibilities supporting HR administration and employee programs.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and brings prior recruitment experience, with strong resume screening and candidate assessment skills.
Responsibilities- Manage full-cycle recruitment including drafting job postings, posting on job boards, and monitoring the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
- Screen resumes and conduct phone pre-screen interviews
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers
- Conduct reference checks and prepare offer letters
- Coordinate onboarding of new employees through an online platform
- Prepare employment letters, including status changes and confirmations
- Submit background checks and driver abstracts
- Support HR reporting and administrative tasks as required
- Assist with various HR projects and initiatives
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources Management or a related field
- 2–5 years of experience in an HR role, with a strong focus on recruitment
- Experience with resume screening and candidate evaluation is considered a strong asset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience with ATS platforms and HR systems is preferred
