What you will do:
Reporting to the Security Officer Supervisor, the successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling property, building and assets, as well as ensuring security of visitors and employees.
The duties and responsibilities will include:
- Patrolling grounds to protect against fire, theft and vandalism
- Locking gates, buildings, vehicles, etc.
- Monitoring visitors/clients for adherence to rules/policies
- Granting access to public
- Operating light vehicles
- Performing other tasks as required
Who you are:
Your attitude, skills and interests are just as important as your area of study. We are looking for diverse backgrounds that bring a combination of the following:
Required Competencies:
- Completion of grade ten (10)
- An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.
Written and spoken competence in English and French is required. Please state your language capability.
Applicants must clearly demonstrate the essential qualifications to be given further consideration. Please ensure that preferred language for assessment is identified on your resume.

Wage:
$26.87 per hour

- Office location: Hopewell Rocks Provincial Park
