Title: OS&D Clerk
Pay: $24.00/hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Contract Length: 1-Month Contract
Location: Montreal, QC

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized OS&D Clerk for a 1-month contract. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, experience in transportation or logistics, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. In this role, you will be responsible for handling overages, shortages, and damaged freight claims while ensuring accurate documentation and timely follow-up with customers and carriers.

Responsibilities:

• Investigate and process OS&D (Overage, Shortage & Damage) claims and reports
• Communicate with terminals, drivers, customers, and warehouse staff regarding freight discrepancies
• Maintain accurate records and update internal systems with claim details and shipment statuses
• Follow up on missing or damaged freight and coordinate resolutions in a timely manner
• Review shipping documents, manifests, and invoices for accuracy
• Assist with general administrative and customer service duties as required
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and transportation regulations

Requirements:

• Previous experience in transportation, logistics, dispatch, or OS&D preferred
• Strong computer and data entry skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Reliable transportation and punctual attendance required
