Title: Class 1 P&D Driver (Afternoon Shift)

Schedule: Monday to Friday

Shift: 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM

Pay Rate: $31.27 per hour

Location: Dorval, QC

We are currently recruiting on behalf of one of our valued clients for a reliable and safety-focused Class 1 P&D Driver to join their team at a terminal in Dorval, QC.

This is a full-time afternoon position involving local pickup and delivery routes throughout Dorval and the surrounding areas. The successful candidate will enjoy competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits starting on their first day.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete local pickup and delivery routes safely and efficiently.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Load and unload freight as required.
• Ensure deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule.
• Maintain a high level of customer service when interacting with clients.
• Complete all required paperwork and electronic documentation.
• Comply with all company policies and transportation safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of verifiable Class 1 driving experience
• Valid Class 1 Driver's License
• Driver's Abstract issued within the last 30 days
• Ability to lift and move up to 75 lbs independently
• Successful completion of:
  • Criminal background check (conducted in-house)
  • Road test
  • Drug screening
