Title: Automotive Equipment Installer/Service Technician

Pay:$21.00 to $24.00 Hourly (Pending Experience)

Shifts:Monday-Friday, Day Shift

Location:Ottawa West

We're sourcing Automotive Equipment Installer/Service Technician for a renowned client in the business of vehicle customization located in the Ottawa area. You'd be working with a professional, innovative, and one-stop shop Company. This company provides their clientele with comprehensive solutions for a ready-to-use vehicle, from ladder racks and shelving to lettering and security systems and is a reputed leader in the vehicle upfitting industry.

Responsibilities:

• Complete assembly and installation of various vehicle equipment (ladder racks, shelving units, etc.)
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines.
• Ability to help with shipping and receiving of goods.
• Regular use of hand tools
• Reading specs and drawings
• Communicating to management of any damaged product, or issues
• Keeping track and maintaining tools that are provided and replacing any missing tools.
• Keeping the working area clean and free of hazards.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Valid G driver's license
• Abstract printed within 30 days of application.
• 1 year of automotive mechanical, or related trades and technical experience
• Ability to work without direct supervision.
• Professional appearance and an ability to communicate effectively.
• Physically able to stand, kneel, crouch for long periods, and climb ladders.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
