MPE / Englobe is currently seeking a Stormwater/Water Resources Engineer to join our team in Calgary, Alberta. This position requires an Intermediate Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience. MPE is recognized as an industry leader in traditional stormwater system design and Low Impact Development (LID) practices. MPE offers the opportunity to be part of our growing team in developing leading edge skills and innovative solutions to emerging stormwater issues.

Your main responsibilities
As an Intermediate Stormwater/Water Resources Engineer, you will take responsibility for portions of assessments, analysis, project design, coordination, and technical execution. You will work through all project phases, from conceptual level planning to detailed design, while collaborating with a diverse team of professionals.

- Lead and support the design of greenfield and retrofit stormwater management systems.
- Model existing and future systems using tools such as PCSWMM and HEC-RAS.
- Develop stormwater management planning documents at various detail levels.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.
- Assist with project planning, scheduling, cost estimates, and client communications.
What makes you unique
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related discipline.
- Eligibility for registration with APEGA.
- P.Eng. certification is considered an asset.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in stormwater/water resources engineering.
- PCSWMM, HEC-RAS, and other related modelling software experience is considered an asset.
- Understanding of local regulatory requirements pertaining to stormwater.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
