Class 5 Delivery Driver

Job Title: Delivery Driver

Location: Saint John, NB

Hours: 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday

Pay Rate: $19.00-$21.00/Hour

Job Information:

This position requires a strong body, a class 5 license, air brake endorsement, and a clean driver's abstract.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in loading and unloading merchandise and materials
• Follow company procedures for proper signage of documents, receipts, etc.
• Move heavy/bulky merchandise
• Perform light vehicle maintenance such as checking oil
• Inform supervisor of product shortages or damage
• Safely secure cargo
• Complete additional duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

• Class 5 license
• Air brake endorsement
• Clean driver's abstract (dated within 30 days)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs to and from company vehicle (helper provided for heavier lifts)
• Maintain a good driving record and operate company vehicle lawfully
• Ability to work with a team
