Electrician

Job Title: Electrician
Location: Saint John, New Brunswick
Shift: 7:30am - 4:00pm Monday to Friday
Pay Rate: $3 2 .00/ hr - $ 40 .00/ hr

Job Information:
We're looking for a dedicated and hardworking Electrician to join our team! Preferably a Journeyman or experienced apprentice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, a solid understanding of construction and safety practices, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, and technical diagrams
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform repairs efficiently
• Ensure all electrical work complies with applicable codes and safety regulations
• Install electrical panels, lighting systems, outlets, and fixtures
• Collaborate with other trades and team members to complete projects on time
• Maintain tools and equipment in good condition

Requirements:

• Journeyman Electrician certification preferred
• 3+ years of electrical experience
• Ability to work as a team and/or independently
• Responsible, professional, punctual and reliable
• An eye for a very high level of detail
• Strict adherence to health and safety practices
• Valid Class 5 driver's license preferred
• Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installation techniques, and building codes
• Ability to read technical documents and drawings
