We are seeking an Engineering Coordinator to support our Engineering and Capital Management teams, based out of Lakeside. This role is a key enabler of how engineering and capital work gets planned, governed, executed, and reported. It is ideal for someone who combines strong administrative fundamentals with digital fluency, initiative, and a desire to modernize how work gets done.


Key elements of this role include:

Engineering and Capital Coordination

  • Coordinate calendars, meetings, materials, and follow-ups for engineering and capital leadership.
  • Support cost centre and budget tracking; assist with preparing reports and presentations.
  • Maintain information hygiene across shared workspaces and document sets (SharePoint/M365).

Safety Program Management

  • Administer engineering office safety progra8ms: documentation, action tracking, reporting, and coordination.
  • Support audits and ensure follow-through on corrective actions and continuous improvement items.

Financial and System Support

  • Process invoices and support payroll-related entries with accuracy and urgency.
  • Work confidently in enterprise platforms (ERP/EAM), such as IBM Maximo, Oracle, SAP, or similar systems.

Digital Enablement and Automation

  • Maintain and evolve SharePoint / Microsoft 365 workspaces used by Engineering and Capital teams.
  • Use Power Automate / Power Platform to streamline recurring administrative, reporting, and coordination workflows.
  • Identify inefficiencies and implement practical improvements that reduce manual effort and improve consistency.

You will be responsible for your personal safety and that of your co-workers by observing all Occupational Health and Safety Rules and Regulations.


These skills will make you successful:

Required:

  • Grade XII education and a recognized Administration and/or Business Certificate (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of administrative or coordination experience in a professional environment.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
  • High attention to detail, sound judgment, and proven ability to handle confidential information.

Assets:

  • Experience supporting engineering, technical, or capital project teams, with comfort navigating technical language, drawings, schedules, and project delivery environments.
  • Demonstrated digital fluency, including exposure to Microsoft 365, workflow automation tools (e.g., Power Platform), or similar productivity and process-improvement platforms.
  • Familiarity with enterprise business systems (ERP/EAM), such as IBM Maximo, Oracle, SAP, PeopleSoft, or comparable platforms.
  • Exposure to technical or data-adjacent tools (e.g., CAD, GIS, or structured data/document management) to support coordination and information quality.
