Job Title: Construction Manager
Job Type: Full-Time

Location: Hillsborough, NB

Shift: Monday to Friday, 8am-6pm

Wage: $70,000-$120,000

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Project Construction Manager to lead construction and engineering projects from pre-construction through completion. This is an on-site role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee construction and timber rehabilitation projects from initiation through completion
  • Develop project schedules, budgets, and cost estimates
  • Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, quality standards, and safety regulations
  • Monitor daily project progress and address any issues that arise on-site
  • Prepare and maintain internal and external project status reports
  • Coordinate project teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders
  • Anticipate project risks and implement proactive mitigation strategies
  • Ensure proper construction methods and restoration techniques are followed
  • Support continuous improvement in project delivery and operational efficiency

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
  • Valid Canadian Professional Engineer (P.Eng) designation
  • Minimum 4 years of project management or construction management experience
  • Strong knowledge of construction management practices, methods, and procedures
  • Thorough understanding of construction materials, building systems, regulations, and quality standards
  • Proven ability to manage all phases of the construction process
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong conflict resolution and crisis management abilities
  • Excellent time management and communication skills
  • Proficiency in construction-related software and computer applications
  • Ability to obtain a valid passport, work visas, and driver's license as required
  • Must successfully complete Company Courses Level I and II with a minimum grade of 70%
  • Professional attitude and commitment to workplace safety and quality
