Are you a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and a passion for improving business processes? Are you known for connecting the dots between business needs and practical, innovative solutions? If yes, than we have an exciting opportunity for you! We're currently recruiting for a Business Analyst to join our Enterprise Solutions team for a 12 month term. This position is salaried, with paid vacation and access to benefits after 3 months of being with the company.
The Business Analyst (12 Month Term) will leverage their knowledge in process methodologies, business practices to evaluate solutions to address complex organizational challenges, ensuring alignment with business goals and industry best practices. This role requires a strategic outlook, proficient project management capabilities, and a thorough understanding of both technology and business processes. The Business Analyst will collaborate across various departments within the organization as part of the Transformation team.
- Evaluate existing processes, workflows, and procedures to identify inefficiencies and areas for advancement through business process modelling such as LSS or Kaizen
- Proactively identify new development and area of improvement within the organization
- Design and implement streamlined processes and best practices to enhance productivity, agility, and service delivery.
- Design and facilitate workshops to elicit user requirements, training materials and process input.
- Prototype and test the solutions using various methods and tools to ensure they meet the organization's quality standards and expectations.
- Document and present the process solutions and benefits to the relevant audiences.
- Change leader to ensure smooth adoption of new processes and systems with end users through training and support frameworks
- Measure the effectiveness of transformation initiatives.
- Conduct quality and user acceptance testing on new system releases.
- Regularly assess and report on the performance of systems, processes, and services, identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Developing project plans, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Monitoring project progress, identifying risks and mitigation strategies.
- Strong understanding of processes, technologies, and best practices.
- Project management, change management, and stakeholder management skills are an asset
- Experience in designing business processes using various methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, PDCA etc.
- Knowledge and expertise in Microsoft technologies such as Power Platform, Excel, Powerpoint, Word and MS Project.
- Demonstrated ability to use AI‑enabled tools (e.g., copilots, generative AI) to improve productivity, analysis, and decision‑making.
- Ability to develop, test, debug, deploy, and maintain applications using Microsoft tools and frameworks.
- Interest and willingness to learn new technologies and update skills as needed.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- A continuous improvement mindset.
- Creativity and problem-solving skills to design solutions that meet business needs and objectives.
- Effective communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage and align stakeholders at all levels of the organization and to communicate complex ideas in relatable terms.
- Experience in using various tools and technologies such as cloud services, databases, APIs, etc.
