Summer Student Term Position - Bedford Campus

We are looking for dynamic individuals to be a part of our team at the Bedford Campus for the following position:

• Music Coordinator in Community Recreation

Positions Details:

Length of the term: 8 weeks

Number of hours: 70 hours bi-weekly - Days

Salary: $18.50 per hour

Start Date: June 8, 2026

End Date: August 3, 2026

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:

• Grade 11 or higher
• Must be between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of employment;
• Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act(1). , and be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with the relevant provincial/territorial legislation and regulations.
• Must have interest in working in Long Term Care
• Interest in community development, recreation or social services.

MUSIC COORDINATOR POSITION

• Ability to play musical instrument(s) and/or sing; Perform to small and large audiences; Event planning and facilitation

Responsible to the Manager, Community Development & Support

Responsibilities:

• Participate and support community recreation, and wellness programs
• Provide seniors with appropriate assistance and information to be able to participate in community gatherings, musical events, and small group music programs
• Plan and implement music group activities
• Perform for senior groups
