The Supply Planning Manager - Mobile is responsible for inventory management of mobile devices and accessories. They develop and execute inventory plans (short- and long-term) for a portfolio of devices. This includes setting optimal stock levels, replenishing inventory across all sales channels, including retail stores, and mitigating risks for excess or stranded inventory. Utilize ERP system and analytic tools/reporting to track KPIs, such as forecast accuracy, stock-in-transit, and inventory turns. Manage the inventory flow for new device launches (NPI) and oversee the end-of-life process for old models.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Organize, plan, and lead weekly SIOP (Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning) meetings with cross functional stakeholders, reviewing performance versus plan and collaborating on actions to improve efficiency, support sales objectives, resolve operational issues, and prepare for upcoming promotions.
  • Develop, maintain, and execute the supply plan for mobile devices and accessories, ensuring alignment with demand, inventory targets, and business priorities.
  • Manage mobile device and accessory inventory across distribution and return channels, ensuring sufficient stock to meet demand and prevent lost sales.
  • Lead lifecycle management initiatives, including identifying and executing collaborative action plans for excess or end of life mobile devices and accessories to minimize financial exposure from obsolescence.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement strategies to enhance supply chain efficiency, improve inventory utilization, and reduce operating
  • costs.
  • Partner with internal teams to discuss system implementations, process changes, and operational issues, driving resolution and continuous improvement.
  • Develop, monitor, and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) related to supply planning, inventory health, service levels, and operational performance.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management, supply planning, logistics within a complex or fast paced environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field. Professional certification such as SCMP (or equivalent) is preferred.
  • Experience in mobile devices, consumer electronics, or telecommunications is considered a strong asset.
  • Proven ability to lead and influence cross functional teams, with strong communication and stakeholder management skills across Sales, Operations, Finance, and Supply Chain.
  • Strong technical and data analysis skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate insights into actionable plans.
  • Hands on experience with inventory management systems and end to end inventory control processes.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, including reporting development and KPI management.
  • Demonstrated leadership, decision making, critical thinking, and problem solving capabilities.
