Position: Mobile Patrol Guard

Site: Mobile Department

City: Toronto Region

Status: Part Time

Hours: Saturday & Sunday (2000 - 0400)

Pay Rate: $20.00 /hr.

Overtime: Averaging Agreement (AA) after 88 hours

Job Description:

  • Conduct scheduled and random mobile patrols of assigned locations
  • Manage day-to-day operations of the mobile security department
  • Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and emergency situations
  • Document, investigate, and follow up on security incidents and complaints
  • Complete accurate patrol reports, incident reports, and operational documentation
  • Ensure proper documentation is submitted to the Field Manager and/or Client Service Manager (CSM)
  • Communicate operational concerns, staffing issues, and client matters to the Supervisor or Client Service Manager
  • Perform exterior and interior safety checks and secure premises
  • Provide a visible security presence to deter criminal activity
  • Liaise professionally with clients, staff, and emergency services

Requirements:

  • Valid Security License for the province of Ontario
  • Valid First Aid & CPR Level C from a WSIB approved provider
  • Must possess a valid G Class license with a minimum driving experience of 3 years
  • Previous security experience is an asset
  • Post Secondary education in a Law Enforcement/Security program from a recognized college
  • Working knowledge of the Trespass to Property Act and Mental Health
  • Must provide drivers abstract. No more than 2 minor convictions, no major convictions, and no more than 6 demerits in the last three years.
  • All successful applicants must undergo a vulnerable sector check
  • Legally authorized to work in Canada
