Qualifications: Current registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Newfoundland and Labrador and completion of a recognized I.V. therapy program and basic cardiac life support are required. Successful completion of Western Zone's Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital 13-week operating room education program or equivalent and the Recovery Room Critical Care Education program or equivalent is also required. Applicants indicating equivalent education or experience may be required to successfully complete the operating room and PACU challenge exams. If no qualified applicant is found, consideration will be given to applicant willing to complete the next training programs.
