Hours:

75 (8 hours; Days)

0800-1600 and 0830-1630 Hours.

Salary: NP35 (CAD52.31 - CAD64.92 per hour)

Qualifications: Current registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Newfoundland and Labrador, graduation from an approved School of Nursing and successful completion of the Nurse Practitioner Program are required. The successful applicant must be able to demonstrate an acceptable level of competency in organizational, leadership, interpersonal, team building, communication, decision making and computer skills through an interview process. The successful candidate should possess considerable clinical experience in the care of the older adult population. Certification with the Canadian Nurses? Association in Gerontological Nursing is preferred. The incumbent must demonstrate strong written and oral communication skills. The ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships is essential. The ideal candidate will have experience working independently. Maintaining Certification in BCLS is also required. A satisfactory record of work performance and attendance is required.
