We are currently seeking a Scanning Clerk to join our Corporate Services team based in the Firm's Saint John, NB office.

Type of Position: Full-Time, Contract (4 months)

Close Date: April 27, 2026

The Opportunity:

An integral member of the corporate services team, the firm's Scanning Clerk is responsible for the organization and preparation of documents, prior to scanning and uploading minute book documents into corporate database per established processes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Preparing and organizing minute books and/or corporate records, by removing staples/paper clips and determining the separation of documents and attachments before they are converted to digital images;
  • Unitize documents and attachments following established protocols;
  • Scanning documents by using imaging equipment while following established scanning and quality control procedures;
  • Uploading minute books documents to corporate database;
  • Set up, operate and perform routine maintenance on imaging equipment; and,
  • Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

  • High School diploma required with related experience in a business environment;
  • Must demonstrate ability to analyze documents and extract appropriate information;
  • High degree of attention to detail and ability to handle a large volume of repetitive tasks;
  • Ability to follow instructions explicitly and consistently;
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with a variety of people;
  • Excellent organizational and administrative skills; and,
  • Ability to work well in a team environment or alone and take initiative when necessary.
