Project Administrator

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide analytical and administrative support for capital and operating functions across the Non-Regulated Engineering Services division
- Track, analyze, and report on capital and operating costs to support effective project and financial decision-making
- Prepare and maintain monthly reports, S-curves, variance analyses, forecasts, accruals, and ad-hoc reports
- Support capital budget change orders and assist with project start-up and close-out documentation
- Coordinate project financial reconciliations and ensure accuracy of capital reporting
- Administer project progress billings, invoices, accruals, and other payment documentation
- Manage work orders in JDE, including preparing purchase requisitions and change orders
- Coordinate vendor invoice approvals to ensure timely and accurate financial processing
- Assist with quarterly and year-end close activities, ensuring compliance with reporting deadlines
- Support operating budgets, forecasts, accruals, and variance analysis
- Effectively manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strong attention to detail
- Collaborate closely with the Project Services Team Lead and broader project teams through clear and professional communication
What We're Looking For:
- Highly organized, deadline-driven, and able to work with sensitive and confidential information.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency with corporate systems such as JDE, Spreadsheet Server, Showcase, Clarity, and advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of hydroelectric utilities or other capital-intensive industries is an asset.
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Project management knowledge or experience is an asset.
What You'll Need:
- University degree or college diploma in business or a related discipline.
- Minimum of five (5) years' experience in financial analysis and/or accounting.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
