What is the opportunity?

We are looking for a strategic marketing leader with a strong understanding of the full marketing ecosystem to drive RBC's Ultra-High-Net-Worth (UHNW) marketing efforts for Wealth Management globally. You'll be responsible for leading a marketing strategy designed to build awareness of RBC with UHNW individuals and families across the globe, working in close collaboration with UHNW-focused regional Marketing teams across WM and RBC to co-create approaches and ensure alignment. As part of your focus on UHNW, you will also lead marketing efforts for RBC's Enterprise Strategic Client Group and Canadian Private Banking teams.

What will you do?

  • Lead development and maintenance of primary and secondary research to deepen understanding of UHNW attitudes, behaviours, needs and evolving expectations.
  • Support the development of segmentation frameworks that reflect the diversity of the UHNW population, including next generation, family offices, business owners and entrepreneurs and international clients.
  • Leverage insights on client preferences and behaviours, partnering with teams across the Enterprise, to co-create specialized programming and high-impact marketing strategies that drive client acquisition and retention for the UHNW segment.
  • Work collaboratively with business partners from ideation through strategy development and execution, navigating complexity to identify and address client experience gaps.
  • Connect dots and facilitate cross-business marketing forums to share insights and coordinate marketing activities for the organization's UHNW clients and prospects
  • Monitor trends that may impact the UHNW and wealth management landscape, translating findings into strategic marketing implications.
  • Manage development of supporting marketing materials for high-impact proprietary events and assist with client hosting as necessary.
  • Lead and inspire a nimble, high-performing team fostering a culture with a growth mindset, solution orientation, intrinsic curiosity, and a passion for creativity and experimentation.
  • Manage budgets effectively, demonstrating disciplined resource allocation and return on investment across programs.

What do you need to succeed?

  • 10+ years of progressive marketing experience with 5+ years focused on delivery to the UHNW segment.
  • Extensive knowledge across key marketing areas including digital, events, content, business enablement, and brand strategy.
  • Proven track record conducting market research, developing strategic frameworks, and translating insights into actionable plans.
  • Deep understanding of UHNW client dynamics, decision-making processes, and expectations.
  • A collaborative leader and problem-solver who brings people together, helping inspire teams and elevate individual performance.
  • Thrives in complex environments, driving results through influence and strong relationship building
  • Strong project management capabilities handling multiple priorities, projects, budgets, and deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal, written and organizational skills, with the ability to connect themes and opportunities across lines of business and marketing teams.
  • Strong AI literacy with practical knowledge of AI applications in marketing operations.
