WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?
We are seeking a lead quality engineer to join our technology team. This role requires a highly independent and proactive individual who can take ownership for quality initiatives, drive testing strategies, and ensure the delivey of high-quality system. This is a hands on leader role who can operate with minimal supervision, quickly understand complex system, and proactively identify risks and quality gaps. This individual will play a key role in strengthening our quality engineering practices, driving test automation, and exploring AI0driving testing capabilities to improve efficiency and coverage.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
Lead and drive end to end quality engineering strategy for assigned initiatives and platforms.
Act as an independent contributor and technical lead, capable of quickly understanding system architecture, business workflows and testing requirement.
Accountable to work with project/program teams in the implementation of defined test strategies across application lifecycle, utilizing QE processes and tools.
Develop and execute test strategies and plans across all levels of testing (component, integration, end-to-end) for the portfolio.
Leveraging automation, test cases optimization, API testing, test data management, test environment management and continuous integration/delivery where applicable.
Provide expertise, direction, coaching and development to build team capabilities in areas such as QE, Agile, DevOps and other RBC processes and practices.
Accountable for maximizing automation for all project functional and non-functional testing deliverables in portfolio.
Support in all aspects of automation testing (plan, script, execute, analyze and report) using organization's framework/tools and standards
Design and develop new automation framework or maintain existing one to ensure testing process is comprehensive and add value to team's goal under the direction of overall QE vision and strategy
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?
Must have:
f Science/Engineering Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent field of study.
5+ years' experience in QA/QE for Technology (with strong technical acumen), 3+ years' experience in Unix/Linux, and minimum 2 years in test automation.
Experience in developing and implementing program/project end to end, functional and non-functional testing strategies.
Hands-on experience with Data related testing, including Data Ingestion, Lineage, Quality, and Transformation.
Good knowledge in a variety of test tools (e.g Robot Framework, Selenium, LoadRunner, Jira) and script development using scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, etc.);
Experience with CI/CD pipeline and DevOps tools like GitHub, Jenkins, UrbanCode, Helios, Knowledge of web services and API testing – REST API and SOAP.
Having Test Automation vision and leadership skills for innovation
Nice-to-have:
Experience in Banking / Finance Domain.
Experience in ETL
