Job Summary
The Clerk IV provides advanced administrative support of an extremely confidential nature to the Site Administrator of The Agnes Pratt Home and to other team members. This position is responsible for performing complex secretarial work, preparing and processing correspondence; scheduling appointments/meetings, attending meetings, recording, transcribing and distributing minutes; generating and preparing reports, as well as other duties as required. The Clerk IV answers, screens and directs telephone calls to the appropriate management and or staff; responds to telephone inquiries as appropriate. The Clerk IV must use initiative to organize and establish work priorities. This position requires that job duties be performed efficiently and effectively while at the same time maintaining respectful interaction with all staff, clients, patients and visitors.

Job Qualifications
Education
Successful completion of a two-year Office/Business Administration program from an approved/recognized college is required.
Experience
A minimum of three years' experience within the last five in a progressively responsible administrative role is required.
Competencies (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook is required.
Demonstrated knowledge of Meditech would be an asset.
Demonstrated strong organizational and communication skills.
Demonstrated effective problem solving and analytical skills.
Proven ability to work with limited supervision in a dynamic work environment.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a deadline driven, team-orientated environment.
