Shipper/Receiver and Parts Runner

Lounsbury Heavy-Duty Truck Centre in Moncton is looking for a Shipper/Receiver and Parts Runner to work in the Parts Department.

This is a full-time position. The hours of work are Monday to Friday, from 8am to 5pm.

• Make sure the shipments that are going out are accurate (going to the right place)
• Perform physical inventory regularly to ensure all stock levels are accurate on the system
• Decide what is the best way to ship something (ground, air, etc)
• Prepare bills of lading, invoices, and other shipping documents
• Assemble containers and crates in the Parts area: keep it clean and organized
• Inspect packages when they arrive and make sure there is no damage… if there is, make arrangements to send it back and get a new order
• Pack goods to be shipped and unpack goods received
• Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents (we want to make sure we received the right stuff)
• Must be willing to learn how to drive a forklift

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a parts department, inventory, or shipping and receiving is an asset
• Ability to perform repetitive heavy lifting (up to 50lbs)
• Keeps their work area very clean and organized
• Reacts quickly to getting a task done; has a strong sense of urgency
• Excellent listening and communication skills
• Ability to work individually and as part of a team
• Must be comfortable using a computer and email
