Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various care settings, including nursing homes, hospitals, assisted living, hospice, and home care. This role offers an opportunity to provide high-quality patient care across diverse populations, including seniors, and individuals with specialized needs such as dementia or pain management. The LPN will play a vital role in supporting patient well-being through clinical expertise and compassionate service.

Duties

• Administer medications and treatments accurately following physician orders and established protocols
• Monitor patient vital signs and assess patient conditions regularly
• Assist with patient admissions, discharges, and transfers
• Document patient care activities
• Provide wound care, phlebotomy, and other clinical procedures as needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Educate patients and families on health management, medication use, and post-discharge care instructions
• Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards
• Support patients with senior care
• Participate in case management activities to coordinate comprehensive patient services

Requirements

• Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of practice
• Prior experience in nursing home, hospital, acute care, or home health settings preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration protocols, and clinical procedures such as phlebotomy
• Experience working with diverse populations including seniors, or hospice patients is a plus
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Ability to handle multiple priorities in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail
• Compassionate approach to patient care with excellent organizational skills

• Applicant is required to be currently living in Cumberland County as this position is to start as soon as possible.

Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contractContract length: 30 days

Pay: $25.93-$33.00 per hour

Expected hours: approx. 20.0hrs per week
