Senior Business System Analyst/Operation Analyst - Trade Finance & SCF

What is the Opportunity?

The Senior Business Operations Analyst will be responsible for business analysis and technical operational activities supporting business, operations, and technology teams for Trade Financing Systems. The candidate must demonstrate in-depth Trade Finance and Supply Chain Finance (Receivables and Payables Finance) knowledge and can apply the competency in new or complex situations.

What will you do?

• Functional Support and Issue Resolution

• Resolve end-user issues across test and production environments, analyze operational problems, and recommend improvements while monitoring SLAs and conducting post-release follow-ups.

• Requirements Development and Management

• Develop plans and estimates for requirements, manage risks and constraints, and document detailed business and system solutions using enterprise standards.

• Change Implementation and Optimization

• Implement BAU changes without code development, optimize functional usage, and propose improvements to reduce manual workloads and enhance efficiency.

• AI Integration and Practices

• Leverage AI tools for data analysis, process automation, and operational insights to improve decision-making and streamline repetitive tasks.

• Documentation and Training

• Prepare and maintain reusable documentation, including User Guides and Release Notes, while supporting end-user training and knowledge sharing.
• Leads the business solutions and technology mapping of new or significant changes to application products/initiatives/processes

• Vendor and Stakeholder Management

• Manage vendor relationships, monitor service levels, track budgets, and lead service review meetings to ensure alignment with business goals.

• Functional Analysis and Technology Mapping

• Analyze functionality to address changes, resolve issues, and enable future opportunities while leading the mapping of business solutions to technology.

• Standards and Methodology Adherence

• Ensure consistency with enterprise standards, apply advanced coverage analysis techniques, and support adherence to requirements methodologies within the team.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

• 3+ years' experience working as a Business Operations Analyst within a Financial Institution.
• 1-3 years' in-dept experience and/or knowledge of Trade Finance and Supply Chain Finance (Receivables and Payables) Financing.
• Undergraduate Degree in Business, Computer Science or equivalent.
• Strong communication skills and proven ability to work closely with external vendor, and various internal business, technology, and Operations Stakeholder.
• Flexible and able to respond promptly to application issue, manage and prioritize competing priorities in fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-have

• Ability to read and understand basic data file definitions (XML)
• SDLC, AGILE, and other software lifecycle frameworks
• Basic SQL knowledge.
• Artificial Intelligence (AI) mindset and some basic AI practice.
