We have an immediate opening for a Legal Assistant in our Property department. You'll be a valued member of the go-to team for managing real estate transactions-residential, commercial, new construction, refinancing, and leasing. You'll work closely with lawyers, clients, lenders, and agents, ensuring every transaction is handled with precision and care.
Position Status: Permanent, Full Time, with Group Benefits
Responsibilities:
- Manage full-cycle real estate transactions including purchase, sales, refinances, and commercial transactions
- Conduct title searches, sub-searches, and resolve issues
- Prepare legal documents and coordinate with stakeholders
- Ensure compliance and maintain high standards of client service
Skills and Qualifications
- 2-3 years' experience in real estate transactions
- Paralegal diploma or equivalent experience
- Strong skills in MS Office and legal software
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- A collaborative mindset and mentoring spirit
