Qualifications:
? Graduation from high school.
? Successful completion of a two year diploma program in Office Administration. Or successful completion of the one year diploma Office Administration program and willingness to complete the two year program within time frame designated by the employer.
? Four (4) years of secretarial experience or office administration is required combined with 2 years? experience entering payroll for employees is required
? Satisfactory Code of Conduct.
? Typing speed of 50 words per minute.
? Class V drivers license.
? Current certification in CPR or willingness to obtain.
? Successful completion of courses and proficiency in the following:
Meditech scheduling application, MS Word, MS Outlook, MS Excel
? Knowledge and application of NLNU, NAPE and NUNM agreements.

Duties and Responsibilities:
? Transcribes and types from oral dictation, correspondence, reports, bulletins, memorandums for Director.
? Payroll Responsibilities - Accountable for completing, interpreting and entering into the Meditech all timesheets for Rural & Remote Health Community Clinics.
? Informs HR of all staff changes from within Rural & Remote Health .
? Arranges travel and accommodations for all locum staff, Director and community clinic staff as appropriate as well as co-ordinates accommodation at RRH accommodations.
? Organizes various committee meetings/teleconferences, produces agendas, take minutes and ensure timely distribution.
? Screens calls, identifies problems, obtains and suggests solutions; maintains highly confidential files.
? Has good time management and organizational skills.
? Sets appointments for Director and staff.
? Creates and maintains statistical reports and screens for accuracy and completeness, insures that completed files are available when required.
? Provide cover for other Rural & Remote Health Clerks as needed
? Other related work as required
