The Opportunity
Join us as a Clinical Counselor and Case Manager and make a profound difference in the lives of families affected by ALS. This role is designed for collaborative individuals who value purpose-driven work and continuous learning in a supportive environment.
The Role
Under the guidance of the Director of Operations and Administration, you will work closely with the Client Services Manager to provide counseling, education, and advocacy. Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting psychosocial assessments and discharge planning.
- Providing crisis intervention and patient advocacy.
- Co-leading support groups and developing educational programs.
- Offering grief and bereavement counseling.
- Maintaining accurate documentation and engaging in community outreach.
Qualifications
- Fluency in both written and spoken English and French is required for this role.
- Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) with clinical focus preferred.
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
Work Details
