Overtime: Averaging Agreement (AA) after 88 hours
Hours: Wednesday to Sunday - 1330-2130
Status: Full-Time
Pay rate: $21.52/hour

Job Description:
- Lead, coach, and support security officers during assigned shifts
- Conduct regular patrols and monitor all areas for safety and security risks
- Coordinate incident response, report writing, and escalation as needed
- Maintain positive relationships with mall tenants, guests, and law enforcement
- Ensure compliance with site policies, procedures, and applicable legislation
- Assist with scheduling, training, and performance management of team members
- Provide detailed shift reports and updates to management
Qualifications:
- Valid Security License for the province of Ontario
- Valid First Aid & CPR Level C from a WSIB approved provider
- Must be willing and able to stand, walk, and patrol by foot and vehicle for extended periods (8-12 hours)
- Must demonstrate a high degree of professionalism
- Must have at least 1 year of prior security experience
- Experience in physical / mall security is considered an asset
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
- Must have a strong command and fluency in the English language both written and verbal
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Legally authorized to work in Canada
- Must be able to provide certifications in Use of Force (UOF) and Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB)
- Applicants who do not possess these certifications can opt into Paladin's Use of Force (UOF)/Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB) certification program prior to their onboarding training to ensure they meet the requirements of the position
Please be aware: The UOF/MOAB certification is not paid as it is a pre-employment requisite; however, Paladin will cover all the costs of the training with a 6-month commitment to the position/availability
