Who you are

You hold a bachelor's degree in business, Human Resources, or a related field, and bring a minimum of five years of diverse human resources experience, including at least three years in a leadership role. You are a motivational leader who inspires high performance, collaborates effectively across teams, and approaches challenges with creativity and a solutions?focused mindset.

You are comfortable working both independently and as part of a dynamic team. A passionate collaborator, you understand the importance of building strong relationships and partnering with stakeholders at all levels-both internally and externally. Your ability to bring people together will support the team and ensure that barriers to recruitment are eliminated.

You are willing and excited to travel—locally or internationally—to represent Horizon and recruit future healthcare colleagues. When not travelling, you're happy to work from home. You bring proven expertise in sourcing hard?to?recruit roles, a strong understanding of public?sector processes, and a passion for delivering exceptional experiences to both candidates and hiring managers.

Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset.

What you will do

Reporting to the Executive Director of Talent, you will play a pivotal role in advancing Horizon's recruitment strategy by developing and executing plans to attract top talent for critical healthcare roles. You will lead a team of experienced Talent Acquisition Specialists—providing mentorship, guidance, and advocacy to ensure the team has the resources needed to meet Horizon's staffing priorities.

You will design, implement, and refine recruitment tools and processes based on industry best practices, enabling hiring managers to effectively and efficiently manage high?volume recruitment needs. Your leadership will directly support Horizon's ability to deliver exceptional care by ensuring we have the right people in the right roles at the right time.
