Job Description
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Data Collection & Analysis: Aggregate vulnerability scan data from multiple security tools and platforms; identify trends and patterns
- Data Quality: Ensure accuracy and integrity of vulnerability data; perform data validation and reconciliation
- Data Management: Develop and maintain strict data documentation, ensuring proper data lineage is maintained and tracked throughout the data lifecycle
- Risk Prioritization: Support the prioritization of vulnerabilities based on severity, exploitability, and business impact
- Stakeholder Communication: Present findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders; provide actionable insights
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline data collection and reporting processes
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?
Must have
- 2+ years of experience in vulnerability management, cyber security, security operations, or related role
- Proficiency and passion in data analysis tools (SQL, Python, or similar)
- Strong knowledge of vulnerability management frameworks and CVSS scoring
- Excellent communication and data visualization skills
- Experience with security scanning tools (e.g., Qualys, Tenable, Rapid7)
Nice-to-have:
- Cybersecurity certification (Security+, CEH, or CISSP)
- Experience with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Familiarity with ITIL or risk management frameworks
