The opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and technically proficient Director or Senior Manager to join our Indirect Tax team with a primary focus on Property Tax services. This role requires deep expertise in Property Tax Appeals, supported by Property Tax Advisory and Compliance services, along with strong client-facing capabilities. You will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality technical advice and services to our clients, helping them navigate complex property tax challenges and optimize their tax positions. You will work closely with Property Tax and Indirect Tax professionals to lead service delivery and support growth by demonstrating technical excellence and market knowledge.

Your key responsibilities
- Lead and deliver complex Property Tax engagements, including assessment reviews, appraisals, and appeals, ensuring technical accuracy and compliance.
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor to clients, explaining complex property tax concepts and strategies in a clear and client-friendly manner.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their real estate portfolios, challenges, and objectives, providing tailored property tax solutions.
- Work closely with Property Tax and Indirect Tax teams to ensure seamless service delivery and alignment with client needs.
- Support business growth by leveraging technical expertise to build credibility and trust in the market.
- Mentor and develop junior team members, sharing technical knowledge and best practices.
- Stay current with property tax legislation, market trends, and assessment practices to provide informed advice.
- Participate in proposal development and client presentations with a focus on technical content and value demonstration.

To qualify for the role you must have
- A bachelor's or postgraduate degree.
- 10+ years of relevant experience in property tax, including assessment, appraisal, and appeals
- Prior experience in a technical or delivery role within property tax services, ideally in a professional services environment or a related industry.
- Experience engaging directly with clients and explaining technical work in a clear and compelling manner.
