HSFNB is seeking a Vice President, Development & Major Gifts to lead our development team, build a successful major gifts program, and drive innovative fundraising initiatives that directly impact the health of New Brunswickers.

This is a role with variety - and purpose. One day you may be front-and-centre at a flagship event; the next, you're building a strategic stewardship plan or identifying a transformational donor opportunity. You'll play a key leadership role across the organization and drive revenue growth through vision, strategy, and exceptional relationship-building.

What You'll Do

• Strategic Leadership

Lead an incredible team of 5 fundraising professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.

Serve as a key member of the senior leadership team, contributing to organization-wide strategy and long-term planning.

Bring forward proactive ideas and identify new opportunities for fundraising growth.

• Major Gifts & Donor Stewardship

Build and manage a major gifts portfolio, including identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of individual and corporate donors for various campaigns that you deem viable through research and consultation.

Develop meaningful, personalized donor experiences that deepen long-term engagement.

Create a strategic stewardship program for high-impact donors and partners including monthly, direct mail and legacy donors.

• Signature Events & Fundraising Innovation

Provide leadership and vision for HSFNB's major fundraising events.

Strengthen existing events while envisioning and developing new high-impact opportunities.

Seek out new, creative revenue-generating ideas aligned with our mission.

• Organizational Collaboration

Work collaboratively with internal teams from other departments to align funding opportunities with program priorities.

Act as an ambassador for HSFNB with donors, partners, and community stakeholders.

Champion a values-driven, mission-focused organizational culture.

What You Bring

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.

7+ years of progressive fundraising experience, including major gift development.

Proven track record cultivating and securing major philanthropic commitments.

Strong leadership experience with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.

Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills.

Strategic thinker with a creative, entrepreneurial approach to fundraising.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Bilingual (Asset)

Valid driver's license.
