We are currently seeking qualified Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to develop online Business Analytics Leadership (BAL) courses.
- BAL 8061: Introduction to Predictive and Prescriptive Analytics
- BAL 8062: Advanced Topics in Analytics and Big Data
This role will focus on course design and content development for graduate-level students in our online programs
• Develop high-quality graduate business analytics course content that aligns with UFred academic standards.
• Create clear, accurate, and engaging learning materials such as learning objectives, weekly modules, readings, and case studies.
• Design assessments and learning activities that demonstrate the application of business analytics concepts
• Collaborate with the Academic and Program Development teams to ensure consistency of course outcomes, structure, and design.
• Participate in course reviews by providing expert feedback to ensure accuracy, relevance, and adherence to professional and regulatory standards.
• Ensure all content meets accessibility standards and supports diverse learners in an online environment.
• Acceptable Degree Requirement Options:
- PhD in Business Analytics
- PhD in Data Science
- PhD in Statistics
- PhD in Operations Research / Management Science
- PhD in Information Systems / MIS
- PhD in Applied Mathematics or Industrial Engineering
- DBA (Doctor of Business Administration) with Analytics Focus
- PhD in Economics (Quantitative/Applied)
Other Requirements:
- Teaching Experience: 5 Years (Preferred)
- Course Development Experience: Negotiable
- Demonstrated expertise in developing course content and applied learning activities in business analytics
- Experience in curriculum development or online course design at the graduate level
- Strong understanding of online learning principles and effective digital content development
- Proficiency with learning management systems and educational technology tools
- Excellent written communication skills and strong attention to detail
Term of Appointment:
This is a contract-based appointment aligned with UFred's course development and delivery cycle. Course development will occur over 5 weeks, with instructional delivery opportunities following the course launch, based on program needs and candidate availability. The scope of the assigned course development will determine contract length and workload.
