What is the opportunity?
Join our Customer Interaction Decision Management (CIDM) team as a Campaign Design and Execution Manager, where you'll lead the end-to-end design, coding, and execution of data-driven direct marketing campaigns. This highly technical role leverages tools like SAS, SQL, Python, and Aprimo/Teradata to maximize revenue growth, enhance customer experience, and drive efficiency through best practices. You'll collaborate with cross-functional partners, act as a subject matter expert, and mentor team members while ensuring compliance with data governance and privacy standards.

What will you do?

  • Partner with stakeholders to develop campaign requirements and design marketing initiatives.
  • Translate technical specifications into code for timely deployment across multiple channels.
  • Conduct quality assurance audits to ensure campaign accuracy and alignment with business objectives.
  • Adhere to Data Stewardship and Governance policies, maintaining compliance with privacy guidelines.
  • Develop complex campaigns by integrating insights from past and post-campaign results.
  • Lead process improvements to enhance coding efficiency and reduce marketing cycle times.
  • Mentor team members, share best practices, and act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on data sources, channels, and CIDM standards.
  • Ensure CRM concepts (e.g., predictive models) and CIDM methodologies are embedded in daily operations.

What do you need to succeed?
Must-have:

  • 4–5+ years of hands-on experience with data/decisioning tools (SAS, SQL, Python, Aprimo/Teradata).
  • 4–5+ years applying experimental design principles in relational database marketing.
  • Proven expertise in structured programming and data mining.
  • Strong analytical mindset with problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to build influential lateral relationships and manage cross-functional projects.
  • Excellent written/oral communication and time management skills.
  • Experience working under pressure with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in SAS, SQL, and Python.

Nice to have:

  • Financial services industry experience, particularly in marketing.
  • Continuous improvement mindset with facilitation/coaching skills.
  • Strategic thinking and comfort with ambiguity.
  • Familiarity with dynamic teaming and organizational dynamics.
  • Experience in predictive modeling and CRM methodologies.
  • Process optimization and cost-reduction initiative leadership.
  • Knowledge of Canadian Banking business strategies and priorities.
