Position Overview:
The City of Saint John is actively seeking student labourers to join our team for the summer months beginning in May. We have openings in the following areas:
- Parks
- Public Works
- Parking
- City Market
- Saint John Water
If you are a team-oriented, hardworking, reliable, and motivated student, this is a great opportunity for you! Duties will vary based on the service area. The positions will have indoor and outdoor responsibilities, including:
- Lawn mowing
- Gardening
- Sweeping
- Garbage pick-up
- Painting
- Cleaning
- And more
Hours and shifts will differ by position.
To qualify, applicants must:
- Be a current full-time student
- Be returning to full-time studies in the fall
- Have the aptitude to learn
- Have the ability to develop in the municipal public service
