Job Title: Skilled Labourer
Location: Shearwater, Nova Scotia
Schedule: Monday-Friday, Short-Term Assignments
Pay Rate: $20.00/hour

Job Overview:

Advantage Personnel is currently recruiting Skilled Labourers to support day-to-day operations for our client in Shearwater. This hands-on role involves a variety of physical tasks and is ideal for individuals who are dependable, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in a fast-paced outdoor environment.

Responsibilities:

• Operate a range of hand and power tools, including jackhammers, shovels, picks, and sledgehammers.
• Move, lift, and pile materials such as rocks, stones, and debris.
• Use wheelbarrows and other equipment to transport materials across the site.
• Assist with lifting, carrying, and general site organization.
• Support site cleanup efforts and help maintain a safe, orderly work environment.
• Follow direction from the site supervisor and complete additional tasks as required.

Requirements:

• Must have your own hard hat and steel-toed boots.
• Able to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
• Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors and on your feet all day.
• Previous construction or general labour experience is an asset, but not required.
• Reliable, safety-focused, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
