Horizon Health Network (Horizon) is seeking a strategic, innovative, detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Manager of Audiology and Speech Language Pathology. The ideal candidate will have experience

leading and delivering the provision of Audiology and Speech Language Pathology Services to patients and families across a variety of patient care settings with a strong commitment to patient-centered care, team collaboration, and service quality.

Who you are

You have a worked in Audiologist or Speech Language Pathologist in a hospital setting for a minimum of 5-7 years. You have experience in clinical care, best practice, are able to balance patient care and expertise, regulatory compliance, staff leadership and departmental management. You have a working knowledge / proficiency level in Microsoft Office applications.

A Masters degree in speech-language pathology or audiology accredited by the Council for Accreditation of Canadian University Programs in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (CACUP-ASLP), or equivalent as determined by the NBASLPA

Registered in good standing with the New Brunswick Association of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists (NBASLPA).

5-7 Years of experience required related to this field

What you will do

  • Provide leadership and direction to Audiology and Speech Language Pathology staff, including, Students/Interns, and Rehabilitation Assistants and Administrative assistants.
  • Ensure services are evidence-informed, patient-centered, and aligned with professional standards and regulatory requirements
  • Promote consistent, high-quality care across services.
  • Support clinical education and development
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize care pathways and integrated service delivery
  • Monitor budget, planning, forecasting, and resource allocation for service
