Department: Finance and Treasury Board, Project & Advisory Services (PAS)
Placement Description:
The Project & Advisory Services (PAS) team operates as an internal consulting unit within the provincial government, providing trusted strategic advice to senior political and administrative leaders across departments.
The Junior Advisor will report to a senior PAS team member and receive coaching from a PAS Director.
Key responsibilities may include:

• Supporting project planning and execution across various initiatives
• Assisting in the development, writing, and formatting of reports and deliverables
• Capturing and synthesizing meeting notes and summaries
• Reviewing and editing reports and documents in both English and French
• Supporting internal operations and team coordination activities

This placement offers hands-on experience in internal consulting, strategic advisory work, and executive-level communications. The successful candidate will gain exposure to high-level government projects while developing strong analytical, writing, and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
Need to have:

• Language requirement: English and French (Bilingual)
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Strong writing and editing skills in both English and French
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities

Nice to have:

• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
• Experience with SharePoint
• Resourceful and creative mindset
• Interest in strategy, consulting, or public sector advisory work
